Sitabani Conservation Reserve is located in the Nainital District of Uttarakhand. It was notified as a Conservation Reserve in December 2012. The total area is 58.25 sq. km in the forests of Ramnagar Forest Division. Rivulets from this woodland drain into the Kosi and Dabka rivers. The reserve is home to more than 33 species of mammals, 365 species of birds and more than 400 species of flora. It offers landscapes, waterfalls and wildlife while supporting local communities through responsible eco-tourism.
